Computer Tuning in Phoenix
Hey there new to the Phoenix area. Can anyone recommend a shop in Phoenix for computer tuning? I've got a 96 150 with the 300 I6, I'm trying to decide to do a performance re-build on it or swap to a V-8. Either way I'm going to need some tuning/reprogramming.

I dont know if this it true but I have been told that if you did an engine swap to a V8 and run a computer out of the older Lightning it is tuned for higher performance.
Why would you get rid of that 300? That is a tried and true motor and in my opinion the best Ford motor out there. If you are going to pull it I will take it.... It would probably sit around, take up space, and never get put in anything, but I will still take it!

I'd love to switch out my 302 for that 300. Its probably more trouble then its worth so im not going to...I'd just like to.
I am actually putting in a 351 from my bothers truck he just totaled 2 weeks ago. Before it goes into my truck I am going to do minor head work, and look into a better intake. This is where I may really know if that Lightning computer will really work because I think im going to give it a try.
