LOL, thats the truth, but how bout them little storms that keep perkin up in your state now?
So, do you think that the F350 Mastercylinder/booster will work with the Dynatrak dual piston brakes OK? I havent found anyone who knows yet. Dang, guess I shoulda bought a F350 in the first place...
not many people are willing to drop $1500 to start to build a rear end.
Wonder how Currie, Dynatrac, DTS, Randy's, Drivetrainsuperstores, Moser, Superior, Strange etc. stay in business? It boggles the imagination to look at the stack of axles out back of Currie.

Those storms are a PITA. You could spend the money on the front D60 and stick a 10.25 in the rear if you run 37 or bigger, the clearance won't be as big a problem.
The D60 Dynatrac with the 35 splines and FF is lookin mighty fine. I did locate a few different NP205's out there too, so I think I probably will go that way. I'm still up in the air over the Klune V.

Well now, I guess those boys over at pirate never heard of Currie Enterprises. Go hear and check it out. Currie Dana 60 They also have a 35 spline semifloat rear with 9" type housing ends. They have the Currie axles available for them.
Edit: Cat# 60-1004F $1,413.95 Dana 60 Rear Housing built to your specifications with Warn HD Floater Kit, 35 spline alloy axles, steel cover and yoke. (Limited Brake Selection)
Additional Edit: That price probably doesn't include the carrier, r & P.
they were talking about stock applications (ie ones that cost $200 not $2000). You can bore out the spindles on any rear Dana 60 and slap in 35 spline Dana 70 shafts. It all costs money.
btw, I think the problem with the Atlas is the fact that it uses an all-aluminum case which leads to gear deflection under big block type loads.

.
We never really specified whether we were talking specifically stock, obviously we weren't limiting the discussion to stock axles. What about 35 spline semifloat axles in early to mid90 F250s? 69-73 J20s with 35 spline semifloat?
Dana 60 30 spline full float axles have been used by Ford, GM, and Dodgie which isn't a bad setup in a halfton conversion. If 35 spline carriers are available, axles can be resplined. Therefore, a good bit could be done in that regard by foraging for parts and some custom axle work. Building up a 35 spline semifloat D60 with the 9" torino ends with 5 on 5.5 lug patterns wouldn't be bad for a Bronco or F150 either. It would be better than and 8.8 or 9" and would be lighter than a 70. Tone rings can be adapted to them, so it can and has been done in 92-96 Broncos. This stuff do cost money.
