Boggers and ox locker or arb
I just about my truck back together and back on the road and I was wanting to know if anyone is using an ox locker in the front rear of thier truck.And if not is there anyone using an ARB.I am sure it has been asked before about the arb. But I am really interested in the ox locker.And also I am thinking about Boggers as well but I have a different question?Do they get the flat spots from sitting like the tsl's bias ply's do. Dont get me wrong it is not that big of a deal to me But I am just trying to figure out if I should run equal or just regular balancing weights. I was thinking about running 35/14.50/16.5's Do these things handle like pigs in the rain.as in do they drag you over in the ditch if you hit a deep puddle. as always I appreciate your time and expierence....

I am running the OX in the front of my Bronco. I chose it over the ARB because of simplicity and durability. So far, I have been very happy with it.
There is no OX available for the 10.25, yet. The last time I checked, they were still in the R&D stage for the 60.
The air lockers are good, but only as good as the installation. They are very common to cut orings from inproper differential setups. Air lines are also susceptible to damage. HD upgrades are available.

You shouldn't have any serious handling or balance problems with those small boggers. The big ones need equal/bbs/golf ***** since wheel weights don't cut it but you'll be in good shape. The tread cut isn't real rain friendly but it shouldn't pitch you in the ditch either.

Uhhh, errrrr, pro? You serious? I've heard of equal and BBs but never golf *****. Do you use them in all fore tires?? OK, I'm better now.....

Yea, I know, it sounds goofy but allot of the guys over at Pirate are swearing by them in their big tires. Haven't tried golf ***** myself but by all reports they don't beat your tires like bbs do. I'd like to see the look on the tire shops guys face when he dismounted a Bogger and a bunch of golf ***** fall out though

Check out this link--->http://www.4x4wire.com/lists/jeepoff.../msg00163.html
These guys are discussing the BB thing. If you go to the root page here--->http://www.4x4wire.com/lists/jeepoffroad/200103/ and look for the threads about "How much castor?" you'll find more info.
You can go here --->http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/PDFs/Equal.pdf to read about Equal.
The end result of using any of the three (Equal/BBs/Golf *****) is just about the same. They balance out massive "unbalancable" tire and wheel combos and keep them balanced practacly no matter what. If you look through the threads in the second link you'll see some are concerned about what the BBs may do to their wheels and tires over time. It seems to me the ***** would be less "abrasive" which is what I think pro was getting at.

Thanks '77, couldn't have said it better. Searching on Pirate will let you get feedback from guys who actually run the golf *****. There are several problems in using equal with mudders which is what makes bbs/golf ***** a better option. I'm thinking about using bowling ***** myself
