88 351W PCV valve?

My PCV valve has two ports on top of it. One of which is open. I can't find an open hose to go to this port. Will this affect performance? Should I plug the open port or use a different PCV valve?
Thank you for any help.

Jason

Yes close that port, in fact you might want to double check that it is open, with the motor running put your finger over the hole and see if there is any vacuum at the port sometimes they are plugged internally. But, anyways, if it is open put a plug on it. With that open it is one hell of a vacuum leak.
