A question was asked on another thread about adding PS without spending a bundle. I am sure that some of you have done that. I am trying to build this truck so my daughter can drive it some in a year or so, and there is no way that she can drive it as it will be. Any ideas on inexpensive ways to handle this? Like I said earlier, I am probably going to ask a lot of questions here.
Thanks, Rick

Go here; http://www.johnsf100.com contact John & tell him I sent you, he can supply the original straight bolt on Ford type Master Guide P/S system that was an Option for our Orphan Year trucks.

Guy's, since Rick has a 4x4, will the toyota work? Could he just swap a latter model 4x4 axle from a mid 70's ford with 4wd? I'm sure spring mounts would need to be changed and steering box etc. Just throwing some other idea's out. -4speed
Not unless he wants to do a lot of cutting & welding to install the T@^*%a system.
It'd probably be easier to install the mid '70s sytem, IF he chooses not to go w/ the Ford type system I suggested that was designed to be installed in his truck.

As expensive as this is already getting, it looks like it is going to be fiberglass bondo for the rusted cab parts, no power steering, and a spray cans of primer and red paint from WalMart!
