I've gotta say it man, only a total hippocrite could possibly mock GM (pretty ugly) or Dodge (pretty good looking - even the 06's) for ugliness, and then run right out and buy one of these ducklings as soon as they hit the lots. I hope to GOD that Ford does not do this!!!! That is without a doubt, THE ugliest vehicle I have ever laid eyes on - even uglier than an Avalanch!
Today's SD is THE BEST looking truck Ford has ever made IMO, and is also the best looking truck on the road period - why screw it all up to entice a few more yuppies who are sitting on the fence and don't even know if they even want a truck as their next new vehicle?
I really don't care about what engine options, transmission options, chassis developments, or anything else the TONKA comes equipt with - you still gotta see that HIDEOUS shell before you climb in it. Jeez, it's like Ford put their own spin on the Titan - shoulda done that to the F150 instead if mimicking Nissan was their intent, at least it's their direct comptetitor to the Titan.
Don't do it Ford. Don't ever go full TONKA - you will lose this gamble.
Since my rants over, does ANYONE have ANYTHING solid to PROVE that the 07' SD is going to be the TONKA?
I don't care for the Tonka look myself in fact it took some time to like the look of my 05 but from the inside it's another world compared to my 96. I hope FORD does not go the Tonka way. My favorite body style is the 73-79 F-Series nice body lines but they did not have any room inside.

This looks a lot like the truck in Toby Keith's "Who's your daddy?" video.....He is a BIIGGG supporter of Ford, and is supposed to "in the know" with them...As he says in the DVD portion of his latest CD.
I'd buy one in a minute....and I just got my 04 f250

Toby Keith is such a dork.
I wish they would pick someone else...ANYONE else =o)
"I'm a Ford truck man.
Thats all I driiiiiiive...ain't got no boundariiiiiiiies. I don't compromise!", then that cheezy leg kick thing.
I'm embarassed *FOR* him every time I see that commercial.
