2wd/4wd frame difference?

2wd/4wd frame difference?
Does anyone know if there is a difference in the frames of a 99-04 2wd and 4wd F250? I noticed the frame looked like it was pieced in the front, but didnt know if that was for different engines or what.

Well - I looked under both and they didn't look quite the same but I can't say if there was any real differences or not...

Considering that Ford only lists one part number per wheelbase for the frames, and that people have converted their trucks to 4wd, and vice versa, I'd say there aren't any differences.
