FE C6 question
First time on your forum.Installing 428cj from 72 250 to 72 100 short box my problem is the 250 c6 has a bolt on yoke becacuse of the two piece drive line the other is a slip yoke and I need to use the tran from the 250 it's new and built for the power any help thanks

Welcome to the site! You oughta find lotsa good info here. The easiest it to change the tailshaft housings. Fairly simple job, I've been told. Most all C-6's have interchangable parts (aside from the diesel C-6's). Any halfway decent tranny shop or even a good shadetree mechanic can get the job done.

Thanks Momudder its been awhile since I've played with my fe stuff Ihave a 351c in my 75 cj5 and been working at a GM dealer but now semi retired I know a GM dealer if I worked for ford it would be like the maytag repair man
