I've got an 88 Bronco with the 5.8 engine. I recently developed a bad vacuum leak and traced part of it back to those brittle plastic lines. While removing the lines, they snapped into pieces and fell from the the TAD and the TAB. Only one solenoid was mounted right next to the EVR and the other was hanging by the plastic lines. I don't know which solenoid is which. I have part numbers E7TE-9H465-BA and E7TE-9H465-AA.
I also don't know which valve is the air bypass valve or the air control valve, which would help in routing the new vacuum lines. One valve is down on the passenger side of the engine by the exhaust manifold, and the other is on top of the engine in the back.
Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
The air bypass valve is the first one from the air pump, along side of the engine, the air control is on the back hard tube. I think the TAB is the one closest to the firewall, and the TAD is closest to the EVR.
Good luck with the plumbing.
