Pushbutton vs stick
I'm looking at a 96 F-150 with a V8, automatic transmission, and pushbutton 4wd.
I know there's a lot more to go wrong with pushbutton 4wd, but I'm pretty easy on my vehicles. Assuming the thing keeps working, is there any difference operationally between pushbutton and stick 4wd?

The best thing for the shift motor is to use it and use it OFTEN (as in monthly at a minimum) to make sure it doen't seize up. You don't have to use the 4wd, just engage and disengage it a couple of times so corrosion doesn't get a chance to build up.
I just like being able to use a screwdriver to shift if my linkages blows instead of having to pull a shift motor and then use a screw driver to shift.
