need help about drivetrain

Im hoping somebody can help me figure out where to find some info about 4wd drive trains. Im trying to swap a 88 302 HO mustang motor in to a jeep frame. I using a jeep frame cuase its free, and small (making a pure mud runner). My question is the drive train in the jeep is a AX-5 transmission, np231 transfer case. I can't find and adapter for that tranny. I want to put a C-4 in it, but not sure what t-case will bolt up to it and the axles. the np231 has a 27 spline out put for drive shafts. Is there any ford t-cases that have that. or is there any recomdations for a dive line. Or can anyone point me in the direction of some inforamtion that might be helpful.

thanks for the info but advanced adapters doesnt make one for a AX 5. or for the c4 to the np231j t case. ill check the other one though.

With a 302, a C4 and a Dana 20 t-case would be a good combo. The 302/C4/Dana20 combo was stock in Broncos, so they will go together. You probably need a Jeep Dana 20 with the passenger side front driveshaft to work with your front axle. Jeeps used the Dana 20 in the '70's.
