Got your message but for some reason can't reply back through forum mail.
To answer your questions, I'm the parts manager at the local Lincoln Mercury dealer. If I had a Bobcat loader {I wish!} I would be glad to help! I use bobcatv8 as a reference to my hotrod Mercury Bobcat wagon that I put a v-8 in and used to race a little bit. Looks like we will be neighbors as I live just south of the Wild Waters park off of Baseline Road. Stop by and see me at work when you get up this way, Mon-Fri 8 to 5:30, no Saturdays {Yeeaah}! Check out my webpage bobcatv8.org for some pics.
Carlene you need a Bobcat? my buddys dad has a New Holland skid loader (same diff) what do you need it for and how long?? he uses it for his construction Co....you know you can rent them pretty cheap too, prollay cheaper than the fuel from here to there in the Powerstroke pullin a trailer with a skid loader on it
Bobcat (Eddie) - I didn't see any hotrod Mercury Bobcat wagon's on your site, but some cool stuff all the same. I don't know why the email back didn't work unless it was like when I get a "Report Post" thing where you actually have to select the person you reply to and can't just hit the "reply" button. The "reply" goes directly back to the system. I'll have to try and email myself through the system and see what I get. In the mean time - thanks for the reply and we'll be looking for you once we move. Can't before then because we're only up on weekends.
James - thank you for your offer, but Tampa is way too far to transport heavy equipment. We have a Ford tractor with box blade available to us to spread the road base and the dump truck driver delivering the material is a friend so he'll spread it out as much as possible to make the spreading as easy on us as possible. We just figured that if we could get in with something better than a box blade, it would give us more time for other necessary moving tasks. Plus, you never know what bonds we can make when we bring our dump truck business that way. Never hurts to ask - eeehhh.
Also, James - have you figured out that Biff's ain't too bad a place to go? Hopefully the next time we're in that area we can not only meet up with Harry and his girls, but you and your family also. (Harry - I think the in-laws will stay home next time. )
well i had to offer to you, he would let you use it but you would have to pay for fuel down and back....sounds like you are makin a new driveway so be sure to pack the base as much as possible before layin pavement or itll crack and warp terribly....ive seen full dump trucks used as rollers to pack the earth for the drive.....Biffs is a great place the food was good and pretty inexpensive, there were alot of cars and stuff we will be goin back....let us know when you will be in town....i liked Fudruckers down there they have a pretty good turn out there too huh
Yep, we're putting in a driveway but not paving. It would cost a fortune. Steve limerocked about half of our flag road and about 75' of the driveway a couple years ago and now we're just filling in the rest of the drive so we can actually drive into the clearing area. That limerock is some pretty tough stuff - Natures Concrete. We have one of those little bitty rollers that you put water in that will work just fine for packing since we only need about 12 loads. Guess you know what we'll be doing Labor Day weekend.
I'll definately let everyone know when we'll be up or down that way again. May be sooner than later since Steve's dad wants some help with fixing his roof from Charley damage.
I haven't seen a Fudruckers in years - didn't know they were still in business.
