Anyone looking for the chrome bugshield can rest assured that they are now available for the new body style F150. I have one on my Lariat supercrew and it really looks great! Ordered from cabelas.com. It's a low profile style and is manufactured by "Stampede". Hope this helps for the chrome lovers.
Trying to get access to a digital camera so I can do just that (post pics). I really looked, and looked, and looked until I found that chrome bugshield. Well worth the wait! I have additional chrome accents also (side view mirror covers, tailgate handle cover, all four doors' handle covers, V8 emblems)
Hawaiianstyle,
Navy Seabee: I know you're really looking forward to that retirement. I just completed 29 yrs., 10 months, and 24 days total military time (regular and reserves) air force. 25 of those years were with the reserves (Dobbins ARB, Atlanta). I'm installing my retired veteran license plate on the supercrew this weekend.

Man there are lots of Military folks on this site... I am Active Navy with just over 20 years now. I'm planning on doing 24-26yrs. unless I pick up Master Chief. If that happens I will stay to 30.

I get my second look in Feb/Mar 05. It would sure be nice, but who knows with all the military cutbacks going on. Precentages aren't what they used to be, it is real competative out there.
Good luck when you do retire. Hope those job offers continue!
