That's right, it just started 2 days ago, a strange "gurgling" noise when I turn the truck off. It lasts for a second or less, and it seems to come from the dash/firewall area. I can't find any leaks from the heater core or hoses, so I'm not sure where it's drawing air from.
The only other time I've ever heard this was on my old chebby truck, and it did this right when the heater core began leaking. So I'm afraid I've got a leak somewhere, and if anyone has an idea what I should be looking for, let me know.
Just to update, went and re-checked everything from heater core, all hoses, etc. and not a hint of a problem. Only thing I can guess is I'm getting air in the system somehow. I just hope my water pump isn't about to fail. I'll keep a close eye on the temps to see if anything changes.
It is a normal sound you are hearing, to be honest with you I am not sure what it is but I have heard it in every superduty truck I have been in that the A/C has been running. Not just PSD's but all super duties.
Hmm, I've never heard it until just a few days ago. Just a new noise that suddenly popped up. I'm sure any of you would understand, new noise must equal new problem. Just trying to take care of my big smelly baby.
