My truck got rear ended by a semi tractor last night. I was parked on the side of the road when a car attemting to turn left got rearended and pushed into the path of the semi. The semi swerved, took out the back end of the car and then ran strait into the back end of my trailer. As for me, I was running out into the farm field as I didn't want to be anywhere near the truck when it got hit. No life threating injury's, but it totalled my trailer and $3000 worth of damage to the back end of my truck.
The bright side of the accident, of the 4 vehicles involved, my FORD was the only one that was drivable after the accident.
My friend's dad bought a new f150 this year two weeks after buying it it was run over!!! by a sem doing 70 if any one would have been in the passanger seat they would have been killed. truck was still drivable but the passanger door was were the driver sits
$12,000 later it looks like new can't even tell it was hit
glad your ok and your insurance company is working with you. the jerk claims guy i had for my moms car didnt do nothing until we finally asked for a new one and the car is still not in the shop yet accident was in april and its only 300 dollars worth of damage or so.
I got the check for my truck today. Not bad at all considering the accident was on monday. By the time I fix the truck myself, I should be able to pocket about $1000.
