302 Vibration

I need to pick your brains. I've got a 70 F-100 with a 302 C-4 combination in it. It runs great but has a terrible vibration in the engine, it's enough to shake the whole truck. I don't know the history of the truck so I need to know where to start. Were these engines internally balanced or do they use the flexplate? The harmonic balancer looks ok, but could it be the wrong one? Is the converter junk? Gimme some ideas here.

check your mounts

I had a shaking problem and it was a simple fix. Check your motor mounts and if they're loose, check the tranny mounts. A rattling box will loosen bolts.
