05 & snowplow??
i just test drove a 250 xlt 6.0L withplow package loved the ride question is has anyone looked into snowplows yet?? i put my 1999's plow on my 03 the frame is differt on 05 does. any one know if western has a new truck frame that fit's the plow??i have the newer stlye blade thats going on 3 years oldand in great shape

Western has a new plow frame in the works, not out yet. I have to order a plow for a customer with an 05 and I was told mid September it should be out. This was as of 2 weeks ago. I will check again today.

you need kit # 33259
This fits Ultramount plows ONLY
By the looks of the chart, Western is not going to make a mount for the Unimount to fit the 05's.
The good news is it looks like all engine/cab/box combos get a plow.

The light harness is kit #28400 for the new H-13 lights. This is the same lights the F150s are using. You should be able to get both kits for less than $500.00. Please check out the Pro Plow Plus on Westerns site. The redesign on the plus is great. They fixed all the little problems with the old designs. The pivot bolt is now 1" x 8", this spreads the load out over the whole bolt. No more wasted A frames and quadrants. They now have A back drag edge. Western must have finally listened to their engineers.

If they listened to engineers it would be a belly mount plow. All new F250 grader.... *sigh*
