haha nicce...and on the first of the three cans, only cut the bottom out and weld that onto the piping, leaving the top of the can on, it will give it a better rumble, and then for the back 2 cans just cut the bottom and top out of them..
someone try it and tell us if it works, we could be multi-millionaires!
According to FLOWMASTER, SI/SO will yeild better torque and horsepower gains than ANY other configuration, unless you do some internal engine mods. If not your 4.2L will never produce enough power to make the larger exhaust flow properly. The people over at MAGNAFLOW also told me the same thing, almost word for word.
Where can you purchase the warlock muffler at? I have flow 40 series with sing inlet dual outlet but the pipes have been cut off. Does anyone jnow if addind turn downs will make them even louder. right now it have a real low rumble. Sounds good but always room for improvement.

Is it better to buy the turndowns out of a jegs catalog at like 40 dollars a piece or just bend some pipe and cut it to look like turndowns. I dont care about the look. Or is there somewhere you can get them for cheap. And the muffler I have is single in dual out. So I guess I could just put two turndowns right next to eachother. How does adding tips or turndowns affect the sound?
I think we were just going over in turndowns in a different thread, not sure which one it is though. Tips really will not affect the sound too much, especially the smaller ones. If I were you I would just bend to pipes and slice them off evenly (the cut being parallel with the ground when it would be on) and just do it that way. Turndowns will make it echo off of the ground making it a bit louder...
Dude, you can go to a muffler shop and they can give you turn downs for like $15 bucks...and that's expensive IMO. Don't order a turn down for $40 bucks...that's a stinkin' waste of money.
I wasnt planning on blowing money on that crap. The guys at the local muffler shop in my little town are idiots. They dont even know what a turndown is. I have asked over the phone and they hadnt heard of them. Then I had to explain to them and they said oh we dont carry them and i told them you can make them though and he said he guesses it could be done. Some people are just stupid these days.
My Lord...I hope I don't get my exhaust done in your town! My local muffler shop actually offered them to me for free if I let him do the installation.
Texas Mufflers is the name of the shop, and it has been here since like......forever! I've always went to them for exhaust...and I may be seeing them again near 2005 for a new setup.
