I got the white one cause it is easier to keep clean...doesn't show the dirt and stuff as much.....although I do think a black one does look better, I am just being practical...I don't have the time to continuously keep it clean.
The King Ranch is were my wifes first two Horses came from so when I needed a new truck to tow "Her Horses", it was an easy sale. Well worth it, I've done about 12k with a trailer this year 15k total, since March. A big change from a 4x2 f250 sc sb.
makes long pulls alot easier (on me) and with adj. peds and power seats we can bolth drive. (shes 5'1" I'm 6'1") with the fx4 pkg. it will not fit in the garage at her office, 6'8".
I think I started something though, now she wants me to put up King Ranch fencing for her horses.
Thanks for all the great info in here! I just bought my 2004 F-250 King Ranch and I love it! I will be using the link to the King Ranch saddle website to get some of that leather conditioner, maybe the hitch plug too. I wish I could have held out for the '05 to get the 18" wheels but I got a great closeout deal on the '04. I'll be on the lookout for some of those rich kids who'll take the 18's off for 20's and maybe I'll get some.
I will be ordering my KR on Friday, my only question noiw is what color. I don't like white. I have seen the dark copper on a truck, have only seen the dark green in the brochure. I am leaning toward the dark green but would like to see it on a truck first. Has anyone seen it in person yet
I have seen the dark green and it is real good looking. I would buy the green but have decided on the white since every vehicle I have owned since I got out of college was green but one. My wife says it is time for a change.
But the King Ranch option requires you to add Lariat Lux package, and 18" rims, and one of the two tire choices. Then you will be obligated to many of the other cool and very necessary options, upfitter switches, engine heater, Trailer brake controller, hitch, electric slide rear window, moon roof, and on and on until the MSRP will scare the H3LL out of you...
Never fear you can get it back down to under invoice right hear at FTE in the new buyer section.
I have a 05 V10 F350 LB 4X4 King Ranch being built just for me this week in Kentucky
Fredvon4, I may be blind but where is the FTE New Buyer section located? Thanks!
Could all you fellas who've gotten the King Ranches take some pictures and stick them in your gallery? I'm itching to get a King Ranch, but won't be able to till next summer/fall... but in the meantime, I love looking at them. It would be great to see some pictures of... everythign on the truck - closeups, the leather, everything.
