Which computer?

I have a 1988 Bronco II. I am thinking about getting one of those handheld diagnostic units you see at the auto parts stores, but I do not know which computer I have OBD I or OBD II (newfangled autobmobiles!) Also when I do get it where is the conncetor point for it?

Many thanks!

Since they are so cheap -30 bucks- i bought an Actron CP 9015 scanner at Pep Boys a long time ago. The nice thing about the Actron is the XLNT instruction manual that came with it, which makes it very simple to hook up & use. The other option is to take a look at the "tech info sticky" at the top of this forum & see "pulling EEC-4 codes" using a VOM. The connectors are under the hood on the passenger side in front of the heater motor. Might have to fish around for them as they just hang loose at the end of wires.
