Accessory Wiring Harness

I have a 2003 F 350, V10. Under the hood, drivers side towards the rear is a bundle of wires (Red, Black, White and Blue I think)...can the red/black be used as power/ground for a direct wire hook up for accessories? Specifically to direct wire a GPS system or radar detector?

Thanks

If no one answers who knows exactly what these wires are for, I would investigate the fuse box.

Yes, However, there is a good ground point under the dash towards the radio. I presume that you found that they go through the firewall? The biggest thing not to forget, don't add too many things, with that size of wire. Probably good to about 10Amps max. I thought about using them, but found it easier to add a smaller fuse box under the dash for acc. I would recomend something similiar to this.
