Explorer Suspension

I have a 95 Ford Explorer 4WD with 79,000 miles. I replace the shocks at 55,000 miles. Just in the last month, I seem to be getting a rougher ride. My friend told me the bushings in the sway bars probably need replacing. I'm wondering about the struts. Any ideas?

I would replace the struts also...the brushings may need to be replaced too...put it on a lift a take a good look...if you do alot of rough riding and off roading then yes...its a good idea to get them all done at once so at least you know that everything you are working with right now is new. if you are experiencing a stiffer ride it may mean you have better quality shocks than you are used to...

I agree...I put new struts on with my new shocks... the brushings were replaced with the torsion lift... I like the stiffer ride...off road the truck doesn't bounce lower like it used to...
