Performer 289 Help Plz

New to the Ford game here, Chevy man all my life....... I have a perf 289 intake, can somebody tell or show me where the oil pressure line goes into the intake at? I looked at the perf rpm on my chevy but it just aint the same Sorry for the dumb question

Been a while since I had a 289, but I do not recall any oil lines to the intake manifold.


There is a water temp sender bung just behind the T stat, but that's all I can recall being on a 289 intake.

i sure there isn't any oil line running to a 289 intake or any ford intakes.

Well I guess that explains alot lol. The motor is a 5.0 in my mustang, Do you guys know where on the block the sender would be then? Thanks - Jeremy

the oil pressure line on a early 289 is not on the intake but on the left side of the engine next to the fuel pump. same on 302, 351W
