Just installed the ceramic bassani headers on my moms 95 5.8 Bronco. Awsome headers, the only problem I had which I didnt notice until we started the engine and put it into reverse was that in reverse the engine torques enough backwards that it allows the header to hit the firewall on the passenger side. Making a loud vibrating noise, but that was all solved with a hammer and big exstention to the firewall.
Well now im waiting on our 3 inch exhaust tips so we can go ahead and make the true duals.
Oh no, the engine isnt moving that much....maybe just a 1/4 of an inch, just enough to hit the fire wall. But only when in reverse and under a hard load cuz the engine torques backwards.
BTW, the headers since they are ceramic were $465 i believe and the chrome ones are about another $100 less. The chrome ones would get the job done just as well but we didnt want to take any chances with rust and they dont fade too much in color.
Best place to get them are from proficientperformance.com because they have a little lower price and FREE shipping. Cant beat that.
