i work in a junk yard(or to be politicaly correct automotive recycling center lol) and i have noticed a few things here they are..
1..some people just dont care about their cars or how nasty filthy rotten dirty they are.. now myself i have an 84 lin. cont for my winter car and even though it is just my winter beater i still under no way in heck would i let it get as nasty as those cars are... now i know most are that way cause ..well they are junked but some are impounds that people never got back for some reason or another..
and how can they alow it to get that nasty??
2..there a very few people that keep the "factory" steroe in thier cars anymore.. i know i know that cd players and all are so cheap just stating the obvious..
3.. ford dont make it easy to get the engines out.i have pulled many engines and the easiest by far are the cavaleirs and that style..probably cause they are just throw away engines anyway but there is mounts and everything right on them where as ford is a toughy they give you nothing easy to hook to..could it be that ford isnt used to getting engines pulled so never felt the need to make it easy or is it that like most things on a ford you need to go threw the elbow to get the ankle? lol

Well, I have to say, my "new" system for playing
CD's isn't as good as the old one in the shop. I
have a 15 year old Pioneer single CD player, and
It'll play cd's I burn on the computer, where as
the CD in the car won't, nor will the new system
I bought for the house...

Two years ago, I was out in a bone yard searching out some body parts for the old Cougar. There was an entire section dedicated to Fox-chassis cars it seemed, and an '86 T-Bird in particular caught my attention: Two basketball sized holes in the windshield surrounded by impact webbing, precisely in line with the seat headrests; partially crushed steering column; rust-colored stains of a certain dried fluid covering the greater portion of the dash, imbedded in the numerous windshield fractures (primarily concentrated around the holes) and absorbed deeply into the fabrics.
I would like to believe the victims' suffering was over quickly, judging by the severity of the trauma sustained by the vehicle itself.
