The family's '93 Explorer is exibiting symptoms similar to vapor lock. It will frequently not start after it is driven for a distance. It is intermitten and often it restarts hot without any problems. I have had many different sensors replaced and the wife is tired of the inconvience of waiting for the car to cool before she can restart it. I'm afraid it will happen at a shopping center and she'll melt the credit cards while she kills time.

The best way to isolate the problem is to diagnose the engine when the no start is present . Check for spark & proper fuel pressures to begin with . Also check for any fault codes .
