94 F350 E4OD safe mode problems
Ok I have recently bought a 94 C-350 Centurion with an auotomatic and 460. On several occasions the tranny has seemed to go into safe mode (hard shifts in all gears) however no OD light flashing or trouble codes thrown. The only way to get it back to normal is to reset the computer. It seems to happen for no apparent reason, sometimes while moving at highway speeds and sometimes just driving around town. Heat does not seem to be a factor as the the tranny fluid has always remained bright red. I just changed the fluid and the filter 250 miles ago but no help. Any ideas where I should start? Heard about this sea foam, any suggestions? Thanks
