I have a 94 F-150 4x4 and have never had to use the 4wd. I live by the ocean & the sand is pretty hard packed, so I haven't had any problems yet, and it doesn't snow much,but it's nice to know it's there when you need it.

hey, I figured if you have the Limited Slip on the 2wd trucks, your good to go for a lot of off road matters. I went through wet mud, wet grass, 18 inches of snow, and still did not get stuck at all. These trucks are great handling trucks and grip the ground very good!
