First post...

I have the Audiophile system (with DVD) in my 03 EB Expy. I'm wondering if it will be worth it to upgrade the speakers, sub, and/or the amp. I don't want to cosmetically alter the interior, but I've become unhappy with the system's sound quality, esp in the front speakers; the bass also seems muddy. I won't be cranking music to ear-splitting levels, but I do want as much clarity as I can get.

Does anyone have experience upgrading this system? I'm thinking about spending $500-$1000. Will this get me a clear improvement? Any suggestions are appreciated.
