Cheep way to get/make a high pinion diff?

I would like a high pinion diff but dont have bags of money to throw around. Is there a inexpensive way to create a high pinion 9" Ford diff?

Thanks,
Clayton

All you have to do is collect the money . . . I'll send you the bags for free. Are you talking about front or rear axle?

roll your truck over and drive it upside down??

seriously though, like the other guys said, about $1500 will get you a true HP9. You could put a 9 up front and flip it over, but you'd run into oiling problems. You'd have to come up with some kind of oil pump setup to keep it alive..

i doubt it b/c HP usually means it is reverse cut and unless the rear ring gear is a reverse cut gear then it would not even bolt in

Actually somewhere on another post someone had put a link to a HP 9in bieng put out that was supposed to bolt right into the original housing, and it had reverse cut gears made by richmond, and no it wasn't cheap but I don't see it right now if I find it I will put a link in here

I guess if you wanted ultra cheap, you could look in dark parking lots for F-350s with your portable oxy-actelyne torch, but you might get more than you would want...
