Testing fuel pump assembly before installing
I have an 1987 ford f150, dual tanks, 4.9, regular fuel and 2X4. How can i test my fuel pump assembly, before i install it?? Under FTE search I found

Can i use diesel fuel to test the assembly, non flamble?? To test the assembly do i need to ground the pump unit, how? I have a four pin connecter two wires to the strainer ( red and black), one black wire to the float and one empty pin, is that the ground??
