Another front fuel tank problem !

I ve read several of the threads on the fuel tank problems ..... so I thought it would be smart to replace the fuel tank , fuel pump , and the strainer (both front and rear ). I have a 92 f 350 with dual tanks , the rear tank finally sprung a leak and I decided to replace both tanks .
The front tank had not been used for at least the last 6 years but of course it was full (sludge , rust , old fuel) and the strainer had rotted off . I replaced the front tank and found that the float and the plug for the pump was not salvagable . I left the float and float assembly off the pump when I installed the new pump and strainer . I removed the main plug system from the pickup . This left 4 holes in the pickup . I ran the wires through the pickup and epoxied around each wire and put a piece of paper over the hole for the float wire (because i dont plan on using the gauge for the front tank ) and epoxied .
The rear tank worked out great ! But when I switch to the front tank the pressure drops and the engine sputters then dies . I can hear the front pump kick on but the pressure drops (pressure is checked at the intake ) steadily until it has nothing . Any idea of what maybe a quick fix . Can I remove the line from the pickup and start the pump and confirm that it is working ? Is it possible that the lines for the front tank is plugged ? How would you clean the lines ? (I sprayed carb cleaner in the lines and it didnt seem that bad , before I installed the new pump ) Thanks RG

You may have a fuel line pinched closed coming from the front tank.
If not you could remove the high pressure fuel lines (the bigger of the two fuel lines) from the front tank, rear tank and the fuel rail. Plug the rear tank line and put air pressure on the fuel line that you took off the fuel rail.
To plug the rear line cut the tube off one of the old fuel pumps (FDM), pinch it closed and snap it on the fuel line.
You could run the front pump without the fuel line for a test but stick a hose on the bigger tube and put the other end into a bucket.
