Ok a little back ground.... I bought my truck ( '96 , 7.3PSD , 5 speed ) about a month ago . The previous owner had just replaced the fuel filter when he changed the oil . I replaced the cps this past weekend ( thanks to ya'll I knew what to look for when it wouldn't start ), but the truck doesn't idle smooth it has a loapy idle kinda like a gas V8 with a healthy cam .It did this before I replaced the cps also . Any ideas? Also when the engine is cold it accelerates very slow no matter how far you push the fuel peddle ( seems normal after a couple of miles ). I'm begining to think I should have kept my '86 with the 6.9 after I hear of all the sensors and conections going bad on the PSD !
