Holley 1bbl carbs
Holley 1bbl carbs
I've heard rumors of these and I recently found one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7915317488&rd=1&sspage name=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
Was it worth it? or is it crap?

Personally this carb looks too small to feed the 300 enough air/fuel to make it run properly at higher rpm. It will probably starve for fuel at cruising speed. Then again the pics weren't clear enough. This looks like a carb designed for the 200-250 I6 that ford used to use.
As far as i know, the 250 was never put in a bronco. The 177-200 were but never a 250. The only thing i can really say here is that it doesn't look like it will work, but the pics may not do it justice. Failing that, you can always re-sell it to someone with the smaller engines. If he bought it, specifically for that truck. Then i guess it must fit it.
it doesn't look right to me
is it a holley or a Holley-II
a holley part # in the auction listing would be nice
the choke and throttle shaft are in the right area for a 300.
I'm going to say it looks small but I think it is just a bad pic.
I THINK it is a late 1BBL carter remanufactured under the holley-II name.
it is NOT for a 1982. it has a wiring harness and a feedback valve so it would have to be a 85-86 carb.

It doesnt seem to be a rebuilt carter carb either. I cant find any name on the carb anywhere. Only some lot numbers

well thats $66 down the drain
