i'm canadian

i have a union job, 2 ford trucks, and a mortgage too so you're in good company

it's a little early for thanksgiving but i'm always OK with being thankful for what i got.

thankful because i like living in a country that's not yet crawling with people hating us for the very freedoms that allow us to tolerate them.

<hell if it was up to me i'd wash my hands of freedom and stuff the lot of them on the next boat to iran.once you get rid of all the wierdos you don't really need freedom anyway>

. look at us in canada. we got along fine for 300 years without any freedoms at all. no rights, no constitution.. nothing. when we weren't taking our marching orders from the british we took them from the americans and still everything was fine.

<then along come the liberals and trudeau and their freedoms and we've had nothing but trouble since>
We have freedom for freeloaders to come and mooch off our welfare. freedom for the government to take half our money and spend it on bad art. freedom for psychos who molest kids and kill people. freedom for terrorists to kill us, then send their kids to our hospitals because they don't even have running water in their own country because they blew everything up and kill women for knowing how to read

<but i'm especially thankful that it's not yet too late to go and kill those animals that think>

freedom makes you soft and civilize whatever's still worth saving over there

so i'm thankful to our neighbors who haven't gone completely insane with blind obedience to those who preach tolerance before responsibility. especially the men and women that can walk a fine line between law and order and dishing out what those scumbags have coming to them

and i'm thankful that if anything i say is out of line it'll be moderator@ford-trucks that has the final say and not some little weasel from the UN high comission on political correctness. when those animals stop genociding one another, cutting off people's heads, killing women and children and innocent hostages, then come talk to me about tolerance.

i would like to make that the corection realizing we have peace loving neighbors to the north, to not just be american, but living a life where american is a philosophy of a way of life . this is a international forum, all us apply as to what a ford truck lover does to be proud of who he is.
i mostly like having my new machinery and wanted to jump for joy and am inviting y'all to tell me what ya got in your cabinets.

EDIT:

if thats the case, because i know in heaven there is some ford truck power with my name on it...because its heaven....and..i know god will grant forgiveness for when i race him and win.....

I no longer need a formal "job" as work is now done for fun, have three vehicles paid for, house has been paid off, retirement is covered (social security, if they choose to pay is not included), and other than routine bills and taxes, no debt. But generally these are nothing more than material things, all of which can be replaced. I'm thankful that I live in a free country (in general anyway), am able to participate in voting and related matters, have good friends and family, am in good health, am able to voice my opinion about elected officials without going to jail, and live in a safe (within reason) community. Some of the best things in life cannot be bought with money, but they must be earned and require effort to have. And yes, my house is well armed .

i hear ya, i usually catch myself, i wasnt trying to be materialistric or arogant if thats how i came off, i am proud that i got a right to do some of the simple joys in life, and no matter how fraggin'ed up the world is i at least have that i guess. a hobby and things i enjoy, and a family in a good environment with the ability to take care of them. i guess thats another way for a guy to put it.

Here's what you're lookin' for. I got a Remington 1100 (semi-automatic) 20 gauge shotgun Rifled slug barrel. Probably won't get to come home to shoot up Stearns County with my brother this year again because I am switching jobs in 2 weeks, and the new place has a no vacation for 6 months policy :-(. So I guess I'll just have to get it out in November for annual oiling and put it back. rats.

We are a very privileged society, andf I wouldn't want to leave it for anything. We can move about without giving any authority figures a reason why, if we want to relocate, we can, and many other such things that many others in other nations are notas lucky to have. I can't think of any other region or nation in which I would want to live, North America is the only chosen home for me!!!

semi auto matic shotgun,, nice. i want one of them with a nice sized barrel, 30'' or so for bird hunting. this remington is more designed for home defense, but i will try to use it for some game hunting.

Hey any suggestions for a basic model to buy? I realize that for birdshot I need a different barrel than slugs, so would need both, as i intend to use both, but i will likely be doing some deer hunting, but also want it for general defense, ya know the little striped critters tha get to foaming at the mouth, not to mention the coyote of the area, generally not a problem, but there is always that chance...

Fellro86, for a basic model I would choose a remington 870. I live in Iowa so we cant use rifles to shoot deer. So i use the 870 with the regular barrel. I just dont want to spend the money on a slug barrel because the stock barrel does the job for me. I also use it for bird hunting, turkey(with full choke in). And I would recomend a 12 gauge, although a 20 gauge is a little more accurate shooting slugs(and a 12 can seem like a lot heavier when you carry it around all day long)But sometimes I need that extra power of the 12. just my .02.

I've got a Berretta 92fs in stainless (never shot cuz it looks so damn pretty), AR-15 bushmaster with scope and all the 30 round mags I can carry, sks with a fiberglass stock and detachable 30 rd mag. Browning 12 guage semi auto shotgun, 1911 .45, 2 .32 auotmatic german WWII pitols, and my bolt action .22. Topped with about 3 thousand rounds of ammo I'm happy to live in America.

Thnks for the tip. This side of the border they let us go rifled, but I like the idea of staying low cost. I had my hunter safety class last spring, just don't have the rifle yet, but I didn't specify, but I do plan to go 12 guage.
