Installed one and never had any problems with the check engine light in a little over 4000 miles. Just make sure to clean out the tube before installing.

None yet, now at 6500 miles. I did however blow a coil and need all the spark plugs replaced. I would reccommend not putting any additives in the gas.

Of course, check out my gallery. I installed an Areoturbine. Basically a $200 piece of straight thru pipe. Sounds awsome.

Performance is good, but the little bit of power the mods add it is hard to notice. Mileage is ok 11-12 with about 70% city and the BFGs. 14-15 on the highway with the BFGs and basically empty. 15-16 on the highway with the 'car' tires and empty. I have the 4.10 gears.

I had the PCM reflashed at 2500 miles and saw a hugh (1-2 mpg) increase. As for the what the mods did hard to tell.

How much for the Airaid? I was kinda bummed with MotorHaven. I called to get a price on the kit, informed the customer rep I'm a FTE member, she tells me "What's That?" huh, anyway, I explained to her that I got a message here on FTE that the online price was incorrect so I was calling to get the right numbers, she asked if I just called, "not me, first time here sorry", but the price she gave me was a tiny bit under the retail which was still almost $100 more then the other part store I contacted online. I really want to support MotorHaven but the prices has to be a little more competative. I asked her if she was correct about the cost she said yes, I told her but isn't that a little steep? she said.... yea, I guess???
Thank you for the info, bye bye now!

Thumbs up definently a difference

I installed a borla exhaust at about 5,000 miles and did not notice much of an increase in power. It sounded great but that was about it. Then around 10,000 I added the airaid and Wow! I don't know if it was just the airaid or the combination of that and the borla, but there is allot more kick when I hit the gas now. Plus it sounds a little louder too.

Sometimes you have to pull the mass air flow sensor and clean it with an electronics cleaner and unhook the battery to let the system reset. It is casued by to much oil on the air filter.

The mass air flow sensor is located on the air intake pipe drivers side just before the turn down to the throttle body. This is out of the instructions with a pic of it, Disconnect the factory mass air flow connector on the driver’s side by releasing the red retaining
clip. Remove the factory mass air flow sensor and retain for later use. See Fig#1
You can clean it with a spray electronics cleaner, let it air dry and reinstall it, by unhooking the battery for more than 30 seconds it will let the system reset. When you clean your air filter spray it real lite with the oil, the least little contamination of oil on the sensor will cause it to read incorrect, that will cause the check engine light to come on. Hope this will help you.
