02 sensor?

02 sensor?
Hi all got the check eng ladt night took to AZ to have it checked and all they could come up with was 02 sensors, the truck is a 2002 250 gasser 5.4 with 66,000 miles, could there be another hidden problem that makes 02's go bad it did not say which one , should I replace both, if so is bosh a good brand?

What were the codes they got ? Pxxxx. usually the codes will point to a side that is causing the problem.
This just a possibilty! you may have intake manifold gasket leaks causing the 02 sensors to run out of range with extra air being brought in by the leak.
One thing you can do is clear the codes and wait for the chk engine light again .
Then scan it for codes .

Hi Rich thanks for the input I did that they cleared the codes, and I am waitnig for the chk eng light to come back on, I will take it to a shop this time. The guy at AZ did not know what he was doing it took him 45 mins to read the codes and clear them. I went and got the 02 sensors any way. But will wait to see what the code show first.
