Hey all! I'm getting ready to replace valve cover gaskets on my '89 2.9L BII, and I was wondering if I need to use any rtv cement, and if so how much and where. Thanks for the advice.
Only were the heads/intake meet if you using the good felpro ones, which I would recommend. Also make sure the covers are flat were the sit on the head, the load spreaders are in the correct spots, make sure everything in VERY clean and don't over tighten the bolts.
