Yes, Doom3 has multiplayer online, but its too much like Unreal Tournament.

"Call of Duty" v1.1 still has my vote for online multi-play.

Day of Defeat? have not played that...gota find me a demo.

I sure had fun (wasted fun, but still fun) when I loaded Doom on my old 25Mhz 386 about a decade ago. I had to run it in low-res and about half-screen side, but it was the only game that got me unhooked from Wolfenstein 3D. My weapon of choice: the good old pump shotgun

Sometimes I wonder if ID Software gets a big check from Intell whenever they release a game that is best played on a CPU that is not available yet. (Pentium 5?)

ive played that game on and off for a while. they complain because thats more what its like, you dont run out in the open and start shooting from the hip like rambo...you have to sit, wait, watch, and shoot the dummy that DOES stick is head to far out.

I got Doom3 this saturday and I'm at the EnPro Plant. Just wait till you meet the flying heads! Those SOBs are a PITA!! I also played a little multiplayer the other day and it's pretty cool. It was really cool when I waxed some dude sprayin and prayin with his plasma gun and I had my shotgun. Just hid behind a corner for a few seconds until he needed to reload and then I got him! Look for me sometime, my s/n's also SOCOM.

Doom3 = Great Game

Yeah, I always hate hearing people call others cheaters for sniping. Hello, snipers are part of war. Deal with it.

Trunkslammer - the "Day of Defeat" demo comes free - my kid downloaded it from Valve software (I think, the desktop shortcut says "Steam"). WWII action online, new maps all the time. My playing name is "Your Momma wears army boots."

hear hear...finally someone agrees with me...i was playing on Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault once for god knows how many hours...and the server was doing what it was supposed to do, save the kill/death scores lol...anyway after many an hour of playing i had like a 500 kills to 15 deaths or something All sniping....and 12 out of those 15 were from people who went under the map to get to me and kill me.

i really hate cheaters...i can understand cheating in single play, but only if your stuck...but cheating online and then going "YAY im the best player there is MUAHAHHAHAHA" and those people who say that using the bazooka in Medal Of Honor is a n00b gun or an easy gun to use....MY BUTT!!!...the bazooka is one of the hardest weapons to use...u cant use it short range or ull get urself killed and its hard to use long range because the round actually spirals like it should instead of straight shooting like in all other games. ok i better stop talking about PC games now or this will turn in the longest post FTE has ever seen lol
