302 efi rebuild

We rebuilt a 351 and had to use the 302 firing order. I am planning on rebuilding my 86 ford 302 efi and if i use a cam that needs the 351 firing order will i need a new computer?

You can switch around the injector wires. It usually works.

thanks but now i am thinking of putting that 351w with the 302 firing order into my 86 will that computer run that. All i think i need are the manifolds.

all you should need is the lower manifold the upper of both are the same i believe. (<--assumes you already have the upper)

then you can have a 351 that says 5.0 on top

yes i have all efi still in my 86. Will the injectors go into the 351 manifold out of my 302 manifold

i think i might be wrong but I think the fuel rails are different sizes. I think 351's have longer ones. But the injectors should be interchangable. But if you plan on making more than 310 hp you might consider upgrading. (according to http://fordfuelinjection.com) if you go there then go to actuators and click the fuel injectors pic it has all the ratings for them at the bottom.
