Trailer Brake Controller
I am going to be installing a brake controller unit in my truck soon and I am just wondering where you guys who have them have mounted yours. I would like to take the cigarette lighter and the oval trim in that space out and install my controller there, I think this would be out of the way for the most part and it would also be within arms reach when adjustments are needed. So where did you guys place your brake controllers?

Keep your brake controller in an easy to reach and accessible spot for emergency stops when you need the trailer brakes. Leaning over is too far away, mount a brake controller so you can find it naturally. My 2 nickels worth…..

Maxium 4x4: The area I am wanting to put the controller is right below the a/c controls. This spot would be much easier to reach in an emergency than anywhere else I think and it would look better than below the dash panels or by the parking brake where I have seen so many installed on other trucks. On my 84 I mounted it under the cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel, basically above the gas pedal.
