EZ Pass - questions

Hello,

I was told that my EZ pass tag inside ( windowshield) will not work for F150 2004,. is that true?

i was told that i ll need a new tag to bolt on front lic plate (extenior).

i am not familiar with toll roads, but wouldnt that be scary if someone took your ez pass and used it all day just to **** you off?

id go to a gate controlled one and try it, if it doesnt work, hang it out the window, then go home and think if an ingenious idea!

I have an EZ-PASS in my truck. I don't like sticking anything to my windshield so it's not where it supposed to be. I let mine sit in the tray on the dashboard, upsidedown covered by my Fun Ford Racing hat.

It work just fine there.....I go throught the Harbor Tunnel on 895 in Baltimore quite often.

I lift the hat off it to go through the booth. I haven't tried it without lifting the hat yet.

i've heard the same thing from the salesman. I didnt have any problems at all on NJ TP, NJ parkway, or bridges on way to VA. first time through i went slow w/ window open so i could hold it out JIC

Here in Illinois, I just put mine on the black mat up on the dash and have never had a problem or ticket.

Same here...just set it in the tray on top of the dash and it gets read every time. When I'm not gonna need it (no toll roads on the drive) I keep it in the flip-up center stowage bin.

glass metal oxide

I m curious...do our F150 has "glass metal oxide" ?

i just checked thru ezpass.com and i do see the list F150 02/03 that required outside tag ( not inside like you mentioned) and i dont see any '04. just wonder.
