truck wont turn over

My 98 F150 wouldnt start. Lights and chimes work. When I turn the key there is nothing happening. No starter pull or turnover. Is there a way I can manually hit the starter ( maybe the starter is locked?). Also, when I turn the keyswitch back to accessory nothing happens. No radio or window power, etc. Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad battery, I've seen exactly what you just described in another Ford. You must have enough "juice" to get the lights and stuff to work but not enough to actually turn the truck over. Trying to charge it will probably be of no use.

My brother had the same problem.. the lights would work but the horn wouldn't work. We cleaned the battery terminals and that did it.
