Question Gas Tank Troubles
I just got a new gas tank from Aero tanks for my 1977 F-250 Highboy. When the tank mounts are resting tightly on the frame, the filler neck is not in the right spot. Has anyone else had this problem with these tanks, and if so how did you fix it? I was going to try moving the filler neck or putting a new one on with a 45 degree bent in it. Hopefully there is a much better way.

might be a serial number thing. what's the VIN?

I would call Aero Tanks and make sure they gave you the right tank and if so what their suggestion is.
