Neva and I were the guests of CarQuest for the truck race last Friday at Charlotte. We got a room in Shelby that night, and had lunch at Bridges BarBQue Lodge Saturday. Really good pulled pork, baked beans and fries, but the slaw was, shall we say, "different". On my sandwich, it was okay, but not that good as a side dish. Had a brown color to it...
However, Bridges has something I had not ever had at a BBQ joint; hush-puppies, and I mean GOOD ones! They were just the right size, cooked perfectly and light. They could be ordered as a side item, and come with the plate and tray meals.

Mustangs Unlimited announces Photo Day at Lawrenceville, GA June 30th
Hey gang... passing this along. Jay and I will be there with the Roush F150 project truck if you'd like to meet us.
Mustangs Unlimited (www.mustangsunlimited.com) is pleased to announce Photo Day at the Georgia Location (2505 Newpoint Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA 30043) on June 30th, 2007.
In an effort to build the current photo library, Mustangs Unlimited has put out the call for owners to bring their 1965-2007 Mustangs, 1965-1970 Shelby Mustangs, 1967-1973 Cougars and 1980-2007 Ford Trucks/SUV’s to photo day.
These pictures have the potential to be used in the Mustangs Unlimited catalogs, for product representation, on the Mustangs Unlimited website, and in magazine advertisements such as Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, Mustang Enthusiast and Hemmings Motor News.
As a token of appreciation, each participant to photo day will receive a 5% off coupon towards purchases made that day. There will also be coverage of photo day available on the website.
Mustangs Unlimited is celebrating 31 years in business and has recently released the latest 2007 editions of their popular Late and Early model catalogs for Ford Mustangs. The catalogs are available online at www.mustangsunlimited.com.
