Who has a bed topper/cap?

I'm thinking about a topper for my 5.5 bed come winter. It's too short to haul a snowmobile in, so I might as well cover it for useful dry storage. But I want to see what the 04s look like with caps on them.

Your truck looks great!! Where did you get the mud flaps? Do they install without drilling? Can you get them color matched? I would like some for my Screw. I'm hoping they come in Arizona Biege.

Mountainar15 - I think you could put that cap on your truck for around $1200. I opted for a few optional features that drove the price up some. I do like the cap. The fit and finish are very good - Leer and A.R.E. both make quality products. I went for the Leer because A.R.E didn't have a model in production when I needed one last October. If they had been ready, it would have been a toss-up on which one I bought.

ATCS2004 - Thanks! The mudflaps are standard Ford dealer-installed. They only came in black when I got them. I don't know if there are any color options available now or not. There have been several threads over the past year about the fit of the flaps with the black running boards. Some people claim you can't install them without trimming the running boards. I don't doubt what they say, but I can attest that the flaps fit my truck perfectly with no trimming whatsoever. That's the reason I have those pictures in the gallery in the first place. My dealer installed them for $100.

JohnnyBoy - Previous Leer and A.R.E. caps were made to fit the flareside - I assume they are also making them for 2004. Best to call a dealer or check their websites for current info.
