351W knocking problems
The victim is 1993 F-150 5.8L Windsor. i cannot figure out why my truck shakes like a volcanoe, everytime I hit between 35-40 mph. It only happens when I hit that speed the first time; afterwards, every other time i hit that speed it doesn't shake. I have replaced my spark plugs, wires, and distributor cap. I have used injector cleaner, and put in a new fuel filter. I took my truck to a local auto shop; they put it on the computer, and the only thing they found out is that one of my left injectors is missing. They put the injector cleaner in, and said if that doesn't work that i might have to replace the injector. Well, from what i know,if something clogged that fuel injector that much to shake the truck, something has to be up with my filter. That's why i changed it, but the truck still shakes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. By the way, i don't think it's the tranny either.

Check your u joints. They can make the truck shake at certain rpms. My F 150 did the same thing . Do you know how to check them? ( No flame intended .) On a lighter note , you should get great gas mileage for fine tuning the motor!
