Front Leaf Springs
I Have An 86 F250 4wd With Ifs Front Suspension. I Am Converting It For A Hunting Buggy-strickly Off Road And Never Over 10mph. I Want To Lift The Frame 6 Inches-- Front And Back And Found A Lift Kit IN JUNK YARD From A Coil Spring Front Ford Truck. Rear Leaf Springs Are From SkyCLIMBER, I Have The Offset Pitman Arm And Brackets Etc.
Can I Install The Rear Springs From My 86 Onto The Front To Help With The Lift? I Likely Will Have To Add A Block To Reach The Desired Heigth. Presently The Front Springs Are Flat Maybe Even A Little Reverse Curved. Mounting Bolt Center Dimensions For The Springs Are Within About 3/4 Inch Of Each Other--present Front And Present Rear.
