Saw 35's on with no lift.
In car domain, I think it was an 85 bronc. the guy had 35's on it with no lift. Body nor suspension. He cut the fenders up to the body line (the crease that runs the entire length of the truck on this generation truck) It looked nice, But i was wondering if he was going to or has rubbing problems. Anyone know if this would be a problem?

i would think it would rub when he turned
i have 35's on my 88 with a 4" lift and some of the fender cut out mine are 12.5" wide on the centered rims (i dont know how to describe them not "deep dish" all the way but halfway) anyways they are very close so i would think that if he turned very sharp he would rub

To me it looks pretty tempting, keep the suspension stock, no change on drive shaft angles. You don't get any suspension travel improvement, but I only do light off road anyway. And the money you save on the lift kit goes toward regearing for the 35's. Looks like he avoids the arm and sway bar rubs with the wheel backspace. Somebody tell me the bad side of this before I cut up my 87.

What's your beef with ttb?

I think he means that natrually with bigger tires things will wear out faster. He is not against it, just giving some warnings on doing it, thats all. As for the TTB, I love it, some don't. I know for serious off-roading straight axle tends to be more rugged. I think that is all he meant.
