Dash on 84 Bronco

How do I take off the panel that houses the temperature control, vent selection and the rear window switch on an 84 Bronco? I took the 4 screws out, and removed the ashtray underneath, but could not pull it out. I could push it in and wiggle it around but could not pull it out. I need to get at the windiw switch, and at the vent controls as both are going screwy. Has anyone ever been able to remove it?

-Matt.

the center dash bezel has 2 screws at the top just hidden by the dash pad, you pull those 2 out and pull the bezel and then lift up abd it should come out easy enough.

Talking

Right. Thats not the problem. I am talking about once that is off, the unit above the ashtray that houses the rear window switch and the switches for temp. control and vent selection. I cant get the darned out, even with the four screws out.
